Home

We are all back home after 5 weeks on the road. Fantastic trip, what an experience and adventure!  Wouldn't have been the same without Brian and Jenny, we had some great fun and laughs, great food (a bit too much though!) and have wonderful memories.

Drove approx 8600 km's from Cape Town north through Namibia, Caprivi Strip, Chobe (Botswana), Zambia to visit family (thanks Peter and Margie for your great hospitality), Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia and back to Cape Town.

Thanks to Graham for setting up the blog for us!

Zimbabwe

Lunch at Twin Rivers, Karoi. On our way to stay with Kath and Doug in Kadoma.
Thanks for your wonderful hospitality and to Doug's welding ability in fixing our trailer.

As reported the access road to Mana Pools was challenging. Took us 3 hours to drive 77km, but there were some wonderful photo opportunities.

Caprivi Strip

Greetings travelers,

I guess you are the last of our friends who will visit the Caprivi Strip !
As in future we will visit the “Zambezi Region” as it was renamed last Thursday.
And we will now travel to Naminus as opposed to Luderitz.

Regards Graham
